Who are we?
Who are we?
Over the past 10 years, T8 First Response instructors have trained over 700 individuals from mums, dads and helpers to professionals from the aviation, education, medical, event, sporting and business sectors. We have also provided primary and secondary care services to DB Pirates, Valley RFC, Lantau Boat Club, iGym, sporting tours, sports festivals, Team Fear and more.
Our primary instructor, Steve Tait (ex British Forces) is an Emergency First Response, Rescue Diver and Emergency Planner. On occasion large courses are supplemented with the support of qualified intensive care and trauma nurses and paramedics who add their own experience to what is an educational, fund and challenging course.
Courses can be customised as required, though they do follow the key requirements and skills as set out by EFR.
All course participants receive a globally recognised qualification.

EMERGENCY RESPONSE COURSES
Our primary and secondary care course services help you prepare for any emergency. However, we also provide primary and secondary care services to DB Pirates, Valley RFC, Lantau Boat Club, iGym, sporting tours, sports festivals, Team Fear and many more. Our courses can be customised as required, but each will follow the key requirements and skills outlined by the EFR.
Through our courses, we teach you how to handle any situation. For example, would you know how to perform CPR in a Dragon Boat or outrigger? Or would you know how to provide care to an injured member of your sports team? After taking our Primary or Secondary care courses you’ll know how. Emergency situation training is only good if you can use it in any scenario. With the help of our trained professionals, you will learn the ins and outs of what to do when disaster strikes.
COMPLETE PRIMARY AND SECONDARY CARE COURSES
Our CPR & AED courses are informative and thorough. Whether you’re looking for basic first aid training or an in-depth emergency medical course, we have something for everyone.
Primary Care Course
Our Emergency First Response programs are based on protocols outlined by the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR). The primary care course includes education for CPR, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use for both adults and children, serious bleeding, choking, and concussion. Learn the mechanics of injury and prepare yourself for any emergency.
Secondary Care Course
Our secondary care course includes education on injury assessment, stroke, seizures, fractures, sprains and strains, burns, wound cleaning, allergic reactions, temperature related emergencies, venomous bites and so much more. From learning how to use Oxygen or maintaining a victim while waiting for professionals to arrive, this course covers all aspects of basic emergency care.
FIRST AID FOR HELPERS
Someone cuts their finger in the kitchen, one of your children starts choking during dinner, your spouse collapses from a heart attack, one of the kids complains of a headache and nausea following a knock during sport, a passer-by is clipped by a passing bus, a youngster floats motionless, face down in a swimming pool.
These scenarios happen every day. The likely first person on the scene may be a helper. Provide them with the best training, as you and your family may rely on them.
